Price: $49.99 Format: Hardback, 425 pages ISBN: 0-201-48567-2 Publisher: Addison-Wesley (Pearson Education) Pub. Date: 1999 (original); I have the 11th printing (May 2003) Pat says:At Dave Matuszek's urging, I gave this book a skim-through, and I found myself really hooked by Chapter 3 "Bad Smells in Code". I also liked Chapter 4, "Building Tests" because preparing for testing in advance of actual coding is something I learned to do a long time ago (and it has always paid off). This book has already influenced me to tackle obvious problems in code early on, and I plan to spend a lot more time with this book in the future. |
