Pat says: Hot off the presses in Jan. 2004, this is another fine effort by Allen Jones.  Among its many good examples are several of the most commonly used design patterns including Serializable, Cloneable, Comparable, Enumerable, Disposable, Formattable, Singleton and Observer.  This is a good reference book to have on your shelf.
