Amazon Format:Hardback, 1200 pages ISBN: 0-7356-1370-2 Publisher: Microsoft Press Pub. Date: 2002 Pat says: This book is virtually the same as Programming Microsoft Windows with Visual Basic .NET by the same author, except that the examples are written in C# instead of VB.NET. It is an in-depth coverage of Windows graphical user interface (GUI) development, including a great deal of fancy text manipulation using GDI+ (graphics) objects in the .NET framework. The book does not address additional areas of .NET including ADO.NET or ASP.NET. If you need to write a complicated Windows application with a graphical user interface, you'll want either this book or it's VB.NET equivalent around as a reference. It is physically too heavy to carry around. Still, very useful to have it at home as a GUI reference. Comes with a CD-ROM in the back. |
