This course - Visual Studio .NET in CETS labs

Last modified 08/07/2006

The CETS Windows labs include:

Moore 100C = 23 seats windows (projector installed, all face front)
Moore 100A = 22 seats windows (projector installed)
M70 Towne = 26 seats windows and 2 booths windows
M62 Towne = 35 seats windows

Here are the details for using VS.NET in the labs:

  1. Shortcuts are in Start...Programs...Programming Languages...VS.NET 2005 (you can drag the shortcuts folder to "My Favorites" for quicker access).

  1. Place your project files in c:\users (you cannot use the eniac file system with VS.NET).  (NOTE: Please email manager@cis.upenn.edu with the lab room and machine ID if StuffIt Expander is not working on a given machine. You can still attach individual code files to your emails in that case but they need to fix these problems.)
  2. Be sure to delete your program after each work session!  Otherwise, someone could copy your code and you could be busted for cheating.
